Training session – April 10th

What we did:

Takedowns

  • Psuedo-new techniques – single/double legs from clinch
  • Dead Drill – both single/double, each side, to takedown – 10x
  • Reviewed Fireman’s Carry
  • Full Sparring – full resistance, to takedown – 3 min

Open Sparring – from standing, 5 min positional, 5 min till submission – full resistance

I was really really tired yesterday. My head wasn’t in the game. Everything was reactionary. Went to bed around 11:30 or so instead of the usual 1:00-1:30. The extra two hours was really good as I’m feeling much better now. Still tired though.
