chi master

April 25, 2008

There are lots of guys around the world that are lazy. They have big fat guts. They talk about chi power and things they can do, but don’t believe it.
– Bruce Lee

Chi and death touch and dim mak are terms that usually get thrown in the mix with stuff like this. Also why are there no fit practitioners of this kind of art?

By the way, Bruce also studied “dim mak” but no one saw him making the rounds telling people to hold him, doing a tap dance and making them pass out now did he?

Dim mak literally means “press artery”. And by that definition it means that everyone who knows how to slap on a rear naked choke, mata leo, hadake jimen, or lateral vascular neck restraint is doing… get ready for it… DIM MAK!!!

Scary! Be careful out there!

The presenter was hilarious. Nice video.
I’m surprised that worked on a random volunteer, as it is complete and utter horse shit. Still, he probably just struck him hard enough on the neck and without warning that it was enough to shock him down.

Or the guy was a plant.

    I’m thinking plant.

If it was “real” no one would put themselves in that kind of danger on TV without a waver or some sort of legal disclaimer. I mean, the producers/TV executives would protect the show and themselves before hand.

Plus, a friend of mine actually “showed” me a “dim mak” strike he learned in Japan. He basically punched me – really hard – in the neck, like under right under the ear. It didn’t knock me to the ground. But it did stun me and the impact hurt like any punch to the neck would feel.

And I ended up with a headache for a couple days after that.

But no. Nothing like the clip. No loss of body motion or slurred speech.
